dc CB 21:29 - When President Barack Obama took office in January of 2009, less than half of the U.S. adults polled considered themselves to be “thriving.” Eight years later, that number has risen to 55.4%, putting this year firmly on track for the highest level since Gallup and Healthways began tracking it.
Trump couldn't do anything about the FED...they are Private and owned by the Banks.
The only thing he could do is force Yellen out/not re-up her term and then lead the charge to eliminate the FED totally, using the power of the DOJ (part of the Executive Branch) to investigate the workings of the FED, to embarrass the FED and force Congress to vote to End the Fed.
Re the "tiff" in China... where Obama was dissed at the airport.
The MSM shows a pic of Obama decendiing from AirForceOne.
What is not mentioned, was that it was more than a "tiff" with US journalists. The Chinese airport did not supply the rolling stairs that meet up with the front door of AirF One. Those stairs in that pic are from the emergency exit at the rear of the plane. Obama had to use the EmExit to leave his plane.
WASHINGTON — After he is out of the White House, President Obama has said that he wants to become a venture capitalist, own part of an N.B.A. franchise and avoid taking off his shoes during security screenings at commercial airports.
All of those goals, serious or not, might soon be achievable if Mr. Obama and his wife, Michelle, sign post-presidency book contracts for what literary agents and major publishers say could amount to $20 million to $45 million — more than enough to pay the estimated $22,000 monthly rent for the nine-bedroom home they will occupy in the Kalorama neighborhood of Washington and foot the bill for flights on private jets. (Mr. Obama has said he would like to avoid commercial flights once he surrenders Air Force One.)
“His is going to be easily the most valuable presidential memoir ever,” said Raphael Sagalyn of the ICM/Sagalyn Literary Agency, who predicted that Mr. Obama could earn as much as $30 million with a two- or three-book contract. “And I think Michelle Obama has the opportunity to sell the most valuable first lady memoir in history.”

Typical of them to leave out most of what he said.
"keeping the rates artificially low so the economy doesn't go down so that Obama can say that he did a good job.
They're keeping the rates artificially low so that Obama can go out and play golf in January and say that he did a good job. It's a very false economy. We have a bad economy, everybody understands that but it's a false economy. The only reason the rates are low is so that he can leave office and he can say, 'See I told you.'"
On Yellen: "So far, I think she's done a political job. You understand that."
"Well, the only thing that's strong is the artificial stock market. That's only strong because it's free money because the rates are so low. It's an artificial market. It's a bubble. So the only thing that's strong is the artificial market that they're created until January. It's so artificial because they have free money... It's all free money. When rates are low like this it's hard not to have a good stock market."

Federal Reserve is keeping interest rates low to prevent an economic downturn
"They're keeping the rates down so that everything else doesn't go down,"
"We have a very false economy,"
"At some point the rates are going to have to change,"
"The only thing that is strong is the artificial stock market"
small detail missing: the timing of the "at some point"
