A BULLY pulpit indeed --
The MXN has declined against the USD thru thick and thin for the last 20 yrs (not counting the period b4 the Nuevo) - the companies (e.g., VW) in Mexico that avail themselves of "cheap" labor are not all Mexican but they are large employers - SO the international companies have been locating right next door to US market instead of IN USA
RE: immigration -- many of the folks crossing the US/Mexican border are not Mexican but Central American "refugees" -- Mexico would not tolerate the southern border intrusion except they are just "passing thru" (the Mexicans are a lot more "tetchy" about who gets to stay in MEXICO than the US) // the Statue of Liberty does not symbolize US immigration policy for the 19th and MOST of the 20th Century - check with the Chinese
ON DEBT - McCain and McConnell are both blowing smoke about the Budget - watch the Philadelphia Convention to see where the Republicans "might" be willing to go as opposition (the Conservatives, if they behave, get their first bone next week in the Supreme Court nominee)

the wall may be a legitimate choice by nation/regime, but it's beyond my understansing why Trump needs the humilation effect, that may trigger hate and acts of hate.

great trade fs!
i agree, selling rallies as long as it trades below 1.25 today for me
london red 10:52:12 GMT - 01/24/2017
price will go where it will go Knez, but people use the cloud top and bottom as a suport and once a price moves inside a cloud, as the range. a bit like pivots and D's. its something that a lot of traders use so it gets reactions off the levels because of it. where you can predict volatility, you can make a trade.
kl shawn 10:51:20 GMT - 01/24/2017
awesome fs! keep posting
sell rallies is the way to go for cable
kl fs 10:49:40 GMT - 01/24/2017
that was nice quick profit, out 1.2459, reload later
Belgrade Knez 10:44:33 GMT - 01/24/2017
reason I asked is because price is in the middle of the cloud on daily, does this mean that price shouldn't go below the cloud for price to keep moving up, please?
london red 10:40:56 GMT - 01/24/2017
daily Knez. Note well that most charts will be inaccurate as they dont show anywhere near the true low that cable reached (sub 115 and c 118 adjusted). but next few days cloud base remains by 12430 then a twist in early feb, these often draw the mkt is price within a fig or two.
kl fs 10:38:40 GMT - 01/24/2017
short 1.2485, adding later with 1.25 handle, stop later as well
kl fs 10:27:26 GMT - 01/24/2017
yes shawn, looks like 1.25 will be quite a battle this week
kl shawn 10:22:49 GMT - 01/24/2017
ditto sja, cable will struggle with 1.25 handle
bali sja 10:21:19 GMT - 01/24/2017
i will see if it is staying under 1.25
bali sja 10:19:51 GMT - 01/24/2017
sell cable on rallies! cannot see otherwise
Belgrade Knez 10:19:15 GMT - 01/24/2017
when you talking about cable and cloud, what time frame are you talking about please?

thanks red, will be looking for levels to add in long position
london red 10:09:24 GMT - 01/24/2017
i think cable is a buy on dips this week and poss til end of month. you have may meeting the trumpster over the weekend. he is all about flash statements, so any talk about uk trade could see cable marked higher so you are going to see more shorts covered this week. i would use the cloud as a line in the sand, below there its neutral but i cant see much downside yet, we need to do some more stops on the top side.
jkt abel 10:08:22 GMT - 01/24/2017
wtr, buy with stop below 1.2450 for now will do
perth wtr 10:05:55 GMT - 01/24/2017
so are you buying it now since we are unlikely to see the low again today?
london red 10:02:21 GMT - 01/24/2017
cloud was frontrun just after the news, if seen again its a pivot as its been frontrun already so you can use a tight stop. not sure we will see it again.
perth wtr 09:56:59 GMT - 01/24/2017

looking for your first broker or do you need of a new one? There are
more critical things to consider than you might have thought.
We were trading long before there were online brokers. Global-View
has been directly involved with the industry since its infancy. We've
seen everything and are up-to-data with recent regulatory changes.
The Global-View Forex Forum is the hub for currency trading on the web. Founded in 1996, it was the original forex forum and is still the place where forex traders around the globe come 24/7 looking for currency trading ideas, breaking forex news, fx trading rumors, fx flows and more. This is where you can find a full suite of forex trading tools, including a complete fx database, forex chart points, live currency rates, and live fx charts. In addition, there is a forex brokers directory where you can compare forex brokers. There is also a forex brokers hotline where you can ask for help choosing a forex broker that meets your individual fx trading needs. Interact on the same venue to discuss forex trading.
The forex forum is where traders come to discuss the forex market. It is one of the few places where forex traders of all levels of experience, from novice to professionals, interact on the same venue to discuss forex trading. There is also the GVI Forex, which is a private subscription service where professional and experienced currency traders meet in a private forex forum. it is like a virtual forex trading room. This is open to forex traders of all levels of experience to view but only experienced currency tradingprofessionals can post.
Currency trading charts are updated daily using the forex trading ranges posted in the Global-View forex database. You will also find technical indicators on the fx trading charts, e.g. moving averages for currencies such as the EURUSD. This is another forex trading tool provided by Global-View.com.
The forex database can be used to access high, low, close daily forex ranges for key currency pairs, such as the EURUSD, USDJPY, USDCHF, GBPUSD, USDCAD, AUD, NZD and major crosses, including EURJPY, EURGBP, EURCHF, GBPJPY, GBPCHF and CHFJPY. Data for these currency trading pairs dating back to January 1, 1999 can be downloaded to an Excel spreadsheet.
Forex chart points are in a currency trading table that includes; latest fx tradinghigh-low-close range, Bollinger Bands, Fibonacci retracement levels, daily forex pivot points support and resistance levels, average daily forex range, MACD for the different currency trading pairs. You can look on the forex forum for updates when one of the fx trading tools is updated.
Global-View also offers a full fx trading chart gallery that includes fx pairs, such as the EURUSD, commodities, stocks and bonds. In a fx trading world where markets are integrated, the chart gallery is a valuable trading tool. Look for updates on the Forex Forum when the chart gallery is updated.
Global-View.com also offers a forex blog, where articles of interest for currency trading are posted throughout the day. The forex blog articles come from outside sources, including forex brokers research as well as from the professionals at Global-View.com. This forex blog includes the Daily Forex View, Market Chatter and technical forex blog updates. In additional to its real time forex forum, there are also Member Forums available for more in depth forex trading discussions.
