that after a weak dec 2016 result, its quite bad whether you look at m/m or y/y. but still, cable will be supported while euro and yen firm as its a dollar move. channel line by 13955 and big barrier by 1.40 may hold up for a while but ultimately fate tied to euro and while that goes up cable will too. brexit will have its go later this year and cable will lose out heavily vs euro and usd, but they arent ready to seperate the two yet.

Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., cautioned Thursday that “people die, accidents happen” when the government shuts down, as it is poised to partially shut down Friday night if Congress doesn’t pass a government spending bill. It was her second shift in position on the bill in just one day.
“Shutting down the government is a very serious thing. People die, accidents happen,” Feinstein told CNN. “You don’t know. Necessary functions can cease. There is no specific list you can look at and make a judgment: ‘Well everything is going to be just fine.’ You can’t make that judgment. So, I think it’s a last resort. And I’m really hopeful we don’t get to it.”

Ive been through at least two shutdowns. Only non-essential services close, and you guessed ti, everything is essential. Also those who lose their work time get paid later! So they get a week or so off at full pay.
