Rising yields are a reflection of more bond sellers than bond buyers. The reason why that may be can be inferred as a consequence. It could be a 'hot' economy..... ho ho, higher inflation, capital flight.... the pundits can make up whatever convenient explanation they like. But the bottom line is that there are more sellers than buyers of the paper.
