CB 20:26 ya u r adressing something I initiated a Q to PAR for discussion - not sure she saw.

Basically it is not a matter of some GUT model equation to try to figure out what will happen to lot of folks / corps who use "one" credit card to pay off (sometimes just the interest on) the previous one and then u reduce the limit on the "one" and raise its interest rate. LoL

U r familiar with the old concept of when "cash is king" I expect. Its time is a-coming

That's BMW move is also a threat to Trump's base (workers).
imho, the entire Western world north of the equator would like to see this guy Gone. With the Putin meeting, he is now threatening the biggest cash cow --- The Defenss/Intelligence Machine. He has suggested not only that cooperation with Russia is a good thing, but also that Russia should join NATO....

Oh the horror. Oceania and Eurasia make "peace".

Elon Musk plays the China Card again. the player's have new hands and maybe he'll win the pot this time.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

According to Bloomberg, Tesla is expected to sign a memorandum of understanding with local authorities regarding building the factory. While investors responded enthusiastically to the news, the fact remains that the Wall Street Journal published a nearly identical story roughly a year ago while Engadget covered Musk's China ambitions all the way back in 2015, a tradition as Musk has waved the China strawman flag any time he needs a Hail Mary to push the stock price higher (like now).

Much has changed since WSJ published its false-alarm report last year: China has taken steps to liberalize its auto industry by making it easier for foreign companies like Tesla to establish a foothold in the Chinese market. And China's retaliatory tariffs on US automobiles and auto parts recently forced Tesla to hike the prices of its Tesla Model S and Model X sedans by roughly 20%, ratcheting up the incentive to manufacture locally.

According to Bloomberg, the FTC has hired Lina Khan, the director of legal policy at Washington think tank Open Markets Institute, who will serve as a legal fellow for the next few months for FTC Commissioner Rohit Chopra as the agency prepares to "increase anti-trust scrutiny of technology firms."

Khan has gained widespread notoriety thanks to her trenchant criticisms of Amazon. As a student at Yale Law School, she wrote a paper for the Yale Law Journal entitled "Amazon's Antitrust Paradox", in which she argued that the modern anti-trust enforcement framework isn't equipped to challenge Amazon's dominance and the harm it poses to competition. Her work was cited by the head of the DOJ's antitrust division in a speech in April as an example of "fresh thinking"

According to The Post and Courier in South Carolina, BMW said Monday that it would move production for some of its SUVs out of the U.S. as a result of new tariffs placed on the vehicles.
BMW is the largest U.S. auto exporter, and employs 10,000 people at a plant in Spartanburg, S.C. The brand’s key SUV models are produced there.

As The Hill reports, the Germany-based automobile manufacturer signed an agreement with its Chinese partner, Brilliance Automotive Group Holdings, to increase the number of vehicles produced in the country, according to the Charleston newspaper, with the total reaching 520,000 by 2019.

"I really can’t say right now. As far as I’m concerned, he’s a competitor," Trump told reporters on his way out of the White House for a multi-leg European tour that will also include confrontations meetings with NATO leaders and also his first visit to the U.K as president. In fact, Trump suggested that his July 16 meeting with the Russian leader could be the easiest of the three, saying "frankly, Putin may be the easiest of them all."

haha President Trump is like a poorly disciplined dog pissing on a host's livingroom floor as he offers next to none words of support for theresa (people should decide) while squealing in delight about being friends with boris (“Boris Johnson is a friend of mine, he’s been very, very nice to me, very supportive. And I maybe will speak to him when I get over there. I like Boris Johnson, I’ve always liked him,”)

the crassness of this character is remarkable
