BEIJING (Reuters) - China has no choice but to retaliate against the latest U.S. tariffs and hopes the United States would correct its behavior, the commerce ministry said on Tuesday in a statement, without specifying what actions it will take.

Tariffs are an indirect tax in the form of inflation to producers/wholesalers and ultimately to consumers - it is the unintended consequences of the tariffs on the EM following a credit binge on "free" money w/loans paid in USD that will ripple thru - a 200 million USD shift in the US economy is a BIG hit to most EM economic outlooks

Tariffs are not intended to cure a trade deficit - they are Protectionist measures used for protection of an industry not an entire economy

Tariffs will help some and hurt others .What tariffs will not do is reduce the US trade and budget deficits .

Tariffs are a mini , mini tax hike in the ocean of US deficits .

Currency Trading

Currency trading charts are updated daily using the forex trading ranges posted in the Global-View forex database. You will also find technical indicators on the fx trading charts, e.g. moving averages for currencies such as the EURUSD. This is another forex trading tool provided by Global-View.com.

Forex Brokers

The forex database can be used to access high, low, close daily forex ranges for key currency pairs, such as the EURUSD, USDJPY, USDCHF, GBPUSD, USDCAD, AUD, NZD and major crosses, including EURJPY, EURGBP, EURCHF, GBPJPY, GBPCHF and CHFJPY. Data for these currency trading pairs dating back to January 1, 1999 can be downloaded to an Excel spreadsheet.
