Chinese county says in lockdown after coronavirus cases_

Mapping the
worldwide spread
of the coronavirus
By Washington Post Staff Updated April 1 at 12:41 p.m.

For months China had more confirmed cases than any other country, but its tally of new reported infections peaked in mid-February and is now approaching zero.

As the disease waned in China, it began to surge through Europe, and by late March, more people had died from the virus in Italy and Spain than in China.

Tuesday Amazing Trader 25 Feb 2020: Reply
CB, as i said before it wont make any difference. printing money helps wall st buy more stocks, but if folks in the street wont mop censored up, or collect and deliver other censored, they can print all they want and lower all they want and it will do diddly squat. the whole world needs to get infected, then it will bottom out, as this is just another type of flu. not the flu, but similarly deadly for old and frail.

managed theater ?

one thing seems apparent to me:
- all this tele-work from home is putting office towers real-estate as business into question as well as focussed morning/aft travel congestions plus a few other potential earth-moving social issues such as peasant being conditioned to "listen to scientists" and behave as guided by gov't edict.

once the curtain comes down on the corona theater societal dynamics will likely be fairly different

WASHINGTON — In late November 2018, just over a year before the first coronavirus case was identified in Wuhan, China, U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents at Detroit Metro Airport stopped a Chinese biologist with three vials labeled “Antibodies” in his luggage.

The biologist told the agents that a colleague in China had asked him to deliver the vials to a researcher at a U.S. institute. After examining the vials, however, customs agents came to an alarming conclusion.

“Inspection of the writing on the vials and the stated recipient led inspection personnel to believe the materials contained within the vials may be viable Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) and Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) materials,” says an unclassified FBI tactical intelligence report obtained by Yahoo News.

The report, written by the Chemical and Biological Intelligence Unit of the FBI’s Weapons of Mass Destruction Directorate.

FBI concluded that the incident, and two other cases cited in the report, were part of an alarming pattern.

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Austin Public Health is investigating a large group of people with a cluster of positive COVID-19 cases returning from a Spring Break trip to Mexico, the agency said Tuesday.

APH says about a week-and-a-half ago, the group comprised of approximately 70 adults in their 20s left for a spring break trip to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Currently, 28 of the 70 have tested positive for COVID-19, and more of them are under public health investigation. The University of Texas at Austin confirmed all 28 people who tested positive were UT students.

“The virus often hides in the healthy and is given to those who are at grave risk of being hospitalized or dying,” APH Interim Health Authority Dr. Mark Escott said.

“While younger people have less risk for complications, they are not immune from severe illness and death from COVID-19,” he said.

APH says UT Health Austin and University Health Services have made contact with every person on the trip, and all 28 people who tested positive for COVID-19 are self-isolating. Others are under quarantine while being monitored and tested, APH says.
