Personal Observations
It looks like a Mixed Risk session today. I would be surprised if there is a strong reaction the monthly jobs data today after Fed Chair Powell made it clear yesterday that monetary policy will remain on a steady path for well into the future. Powell has been a source of stability for the markets.
Equities have been trading higher, but seem to run into occasional bouts of weakness. You could say the same thing about the lead EURUSD relationship. Markets seem to have a weak USD scenario locked into their brains.
EURGBP is also on a volatile path as Brexit negotiations drag on.
As for the U.S., a Biden victory is inevitable as the doors to a Trump victory are being shut one by one. I'm thinking a prolonged decision making period is not necessarily a bad thing as it is giving Trump supporters time to process this eventuality.
Don't forget the Coronavirus is still out there, even though is out of the headlines. Maybe this temporary time-out will not be a bad thing.
